Having lived in spicy Southern Louisiana, the heart of the Kentucky bluegrass and the grande dame of Southern cities, Atlanta, Denise can't deny her appreciation for Southern hospitality and the love of a good party. The perfect celebration for Denise is fabulous food in a beautiful setting, surrounded by good friends enjoying great conversation. Professionally, in the world of high tech, Denise created and ran an upscale customer meeting center for a highly successful company in Austin, TX and has a long history of corporate event planning. Corporate jargon aside, Denise wants you to know that all her professional experience has led to where she is today - obsessing over the experience clients have with Thompson Poole. In 2002, Denise left the cubicle jungle behind to start a family with her husband Charles. In 2004, they decided to document the birth of their first child. Enter Wendi Poole, who promised more than a photo album - she promised a narrative. And she delivered. Always fiercely loyal, Denise returned to Wendi when her second child was on the way. Denise and Wendi's complementary personalities and skill sets led to fast friendship and the promise of a professional partnership. Together, they launched Thompson Poole Photography in 2008. Today, Denise lives with her husband and two young children in Austin, TX. When not obsessing over your wedding photography details, you'll most likely find her working in her organic vegetable garden or browsing a flea market, or maybe daydreaming about her next travel adventure.
