Promises. Promises. I’ve been promising you this Texas hill country wedding and it’s finally here! Remember Candis and Jason from their engagement session and Candis’ bridal portraits? I know I say “fun” a lot, especially about this couple, but it’s true! And I have pictures to prove it! Candis is a sweet, sweet person and like all brides was a bit nervous about the wedding day going as planned. The tornado warnings and rain are not what she had in mind for her outdoor ceremony! But, you know the funny thing about couples? They so often perfectly complement each other and Jason is this big calming force for Candis. He walks into the room and Candis’ concerns melt away. Can you ask for more than that?
Circle H Lodge was the perfect setting for Candis and Jason’s families and friends to gather for the weekend. It’s always a treat for us to work there!

The wedding party were all barefoot for the ceremony. The cold, rain-soaked grass made for great reactions!

Candis’ dad wore his black cowboy hat for the ceremony. He earned bonus points in my book! Very cool.

Such a beautiful and happy couple.

Little guys in suits get me every time.

What do you say to the bride who wants to have photos of the wedding party in an oak tree? Yes, please!

Congratulations!
